first swimming class!

Poor thing.  This has been much of his look for the first part of swimming lessons.  Toward the end he will relax and start to enjoy it.

Pics from the little m's first ever swimming lessons.  He told me at the beginning of summer he really wanted to take lessons.  Then on the first day  he was in tears not wanting to do it.  However I finally got him to try it out.  In just three days he can already somewhat swim under water.  I am quite proud of him.

Nation wide church event

The girls went with their youth group to our church's national wide youth gathering in New Orleans.  They had a great time helping others, learning more about their faith and seeing the sights.  They got to hear lots of great speeches, music and more!
